About Me

 Hi my name is Treasa.
I am new at quilting, I started about a year ago, I joined a group called the willow quilters in September 2011. My husband Jim lost his eye sight a few years back and as we both stopped work I needed something to do with my time at home.
I love sewing and crafting with my six grandchildren. I help them make costumes and stuff for their room. Recently I helped make a Dorothy (from the wizard of oz) costume for my granddaughter who was going to a fancy dress party. 
I have a sewing room and that's where I make most of my crafts. Sometimes I relax in the sitting room and finish off a project in front of the fire.  I am currently working on my first major quilting project, it's a lemon tree quilt inspired by the Missouri star quilting company. 
This is my first blog my granddaughter is helping me with it. Since this is only my first blog I am still figuring out how to use it so I wont be posting pictures today.
